Les Gets
The pretty village of Les Gets is just 1.15 hours from Geneva Airport and is part of the Port du Soleil ski area, comprising of 12 resorts between France & Switzerland. The experienced skier can start their day in Les Gets, France, have lunch in Switzerland and be back in time to enjoy plenty of après ski.
The village offers an excellent choice of restaurants and bars - with traditional mountain cuisine and more international tastes well catered for. On piste there is a wide choice of restaurants of all price ranges and offerings. We are happy to offer suggestions of our favourites.
Les Gets is situated in one of the largest ski areas in the world - the Port du Soleil offers a cross-border skiing adventure with 286 slopes covering around 650 km between France and Switzerland, all accessible via 196 ski lifts.
You can choose which ski pass you buy to cover either the whole Port Du Soleil or just Les Gets & Morzine.
The resort caters well for families - with an extensive collection of ski instructors (many of whom are British for the non-French speakers) and plenty of slopes for the inexperienced skier to build their confidence and hone their technique. As mentioned there is also plenty on offer for the more experienced or adventurous skiers.
The apartment building offers a shuttle service (at a cost) to Morzine & Avoriaz for those wishing to start or end their day in a different resort.
